Happy Easter
“Good Morning, Baby!” It’s Easter Sunday, the following morning from last night’s Universal City Walk. We went to GroundWork Coffee shop for some caffeine, triple shots for him and double for the shorty.
“Happy Easter, Collan!” I never thought that I would be with him that whole day. I had a wonderful morning . . . and that was just the beginning!
Here’s a funny Easter picture for you, Sweetie! I hope you like it!

Follow me to the moon
I thought about asking him out for quite sometime now. You know, actually taking him out to a nice place. Since he was still at work, I sent him a text …”Hey! Can I take you out tonight for Rubio’s and drinks at Universal City Walk?” He later took my offer and we went on Saturday night, the 26th.
I went and picked him up and Oh boy… he looked so handsome! “Hi, gorgeous!” I said. He then gave me a big kiss and a huggable squeeze while I was on the driver’s seat! “Baby you smell so good!” I said. That put a big smile on his pretty face and said, “You, too!” Then, when we got there, the place was packed with people! I mean, it was crowded. He was okay with it and seemed to be excited to see the City Walk for the first time. We were both hungry and ate at Rubio’s, since he was craving it! After walking around and showing him this popular place, we went up on the second floor to see what’s playing on those clubs and bars where BBking was located. He was so cute! You know, how a 6’2” guy steps down on the escalator just to see his 5’ girl face to face. I was thinking…wow, at least I get to hug him and kiss him. And for a moment, I was TALLER! Nice, huh! We wind up in this club where bunch of people were having so much fun. The loud music, the singing, and the performance are what attracted him the most. So, we went in and grabbed some beers and watched the whole thing unfold. “This place rocks!” he said. We were so happy and enjoyed the band. Most of the songs they’ve performed are our favorites. So you can imagine that we didn’t want to leave. This club is where people come and celebrate bridal showers; birthdays; and farewells. When one of the main vocalists called this girl up on the stage, he played a nice song for her to bid her goodbye! Then the guy placed a bumper sticker on her that says, “Follow me to the Moon!” I think it was the motto they carry in their club. That girl was apparently leaving to Indiana. All of a sudden, I felt this big hug behind me and reached down to kiss my head. I felt happy and sad at the same time. I knew what he was thinking then…”Shorty is leaving too!” I know that it’s not hitting him yet. But I’m sure that he and I are just going to be fine.
Wow! We both really enjoyed it baby! I’m so glad that I get to take you there and marked another happy memory. You’re awesome, you know!
We went back to his place and listened to more music while we held each other. “Good night!” I couldn’t sleep though, so I just stared at him while sleeping. I know what I was doing … I was memorizing him again. He looked so calm and peaceful. I knew then and I told myself …”There is no place I’d rather be than to be here with you!”

Breaking the News
I sent him an alpha text message via my cell @1120x, the day after my interview. It went like, “Hi, Baby! Just saying Wuz up? Take Care!” He then called @2019 to tell me that he got the message and we talked for the longest. This time the conversation lasted for 25 minutes. He was really tired from work and going straight to his class for the midterm. He did ask about my interview and wanted me to talk about it. Somehow, the conversation was more focused on his test! “It was hard!” he said. He kept talking about it and venting out his feelings about how much effort he had put in it. I tried to tell him, but then…
He stated, “I took some classes over there (SD) and when I came here, they didn’t credit the units! So I had to start all over again when I moved here to LA! But if I didn’t move out here, then I would’ve never met you!” Deep inside me…I was like, Ouch! That’s when I told him, “Babe, I got hired!” He was like, “What? Tired?” I said, “No, I got the job, they offered it to me and I took it!” He didn’t even congratulate me. He was quiet at first then said, “That’s crazy!” I asked him what’s crazy. He goes…”Maybe this is meant to be…you know, you moving over there!” I was like “Oh my God!” Then he kept repeating the same thing about this is crazy! So, I told him how I felt, and that I am just going to be a drive away! I am willing to drive a thousand miles just to be with him! “How sweet!” he said. I told him that I’m coming home on the weekends to visit my family and especially him. Then he was quiet for a long time. He said he was just thinking of his midterm again! I guess he didn’t care about my move. I know that since he’d always tell me that he never worried about me, then I guess there’s nothing to worry about!
I’m gonna miss you, Collan! Like I said, I’m just 3 hours away and if you tell me to wait for you, you know I WILL! Why? Because I don’t want to lose YOU!

GOODBYE LA … SAN DIEGO, HERE I COME
This picture was taken last year when I visited the city of San Diego. I’ve always wanted to move there. I never thought that was possible now!
Yes, you guys! Thanks for the prayers and faith! I got the job in UCSD! Yeahey! I’m so happy, excited, but nervous all at the same time. When I told my family and friends, they’re all happy for me. I could sense some sadness in their voices, and I’ve felt their warmth acceptance. “It is your time!” a friend of mine said! Let’s throw you a getaway celebration! Weepeeh! That’s gonna be an awesome party! Thanks for the thoughts!
Now, how am I going to tell the man of my life that I’m moving to where he just came from? I’m sure it’s going to be okay! He’s an understanding person anyway! I hate the fact that I’m not going to be that close to him now. But my new schedule over there permits me to come home over the weekend to visit my family and him. I can’t tell him now, because he’s at home studying for tomorrow’s midterm. I wish you all the luck, Baby! I know you! You’re gonna be the top scored student once again!
Wow! This is still hitting me like… I don’t know, I think its mixed emotions! I’m actually crying right now! My tears are overflowing! I think I feel sad now! Am I ready for this big move? Am I ready for this big change?

Runyan Canyon Trail
It’s Sunday and we both have the same day off. He called around afternoon. “Hey, Shorty! I’m going for a walk in Runyan Canyon later, would you like to come?” he asked. I said, “Sure, what time?” He said at around 1600x.
“Have you been on this trail before?” I asked him. He said, “Yes!” So we walked together and had a great time. It was a very popular trail that’s why we weren’t the only ones up on that trail. Oh, my gosh… I almost ate it! I slipped and almost lost it. It was very steep and I think I stepped on the wrong path. “Even if you slipped all the way, Baby I got you!” he said. I felt like I had an angel next to me the whole time after that. Thanks a million, Baby! You’re the best!
We walked back to the car and all of the sudden, I was hungry…”You know what I’m craving for right about now, MANGO ice cream!” He went, “Oh, where do we get that?” I said that we can get it from a Filipino supermarket. “Let’s go and get it then!” he said! When we got to the store, we got the ice cream and the bite size hotdogs. He asked me if I know how to cook it! I said, “Of course, but I marinate it with Filipino ketchup!” He asked me if I could make it for him. Yes, of course I made it for my honey! And he loved it! We both enjoyed the hotdogs. The mango ice cream was to die for. I know he loves ice cream, but I never knew he’d fall for this one. He never had mango for ice cream before and I know this one made a mark on his taste buds.
I had a great time, Babe! Thanks again for the walk and the time well spent!
