This is a road trip that I shall never forget. The drive to Death Valley was pretty long, but it was worth it! It was the most amazing place I’ve ever seen. The mountains; the lake; the roads we took; the sun shining upon every living thing on earth; and the beautiful wild yellow flowers . . . the emptiness of the desert was up to us to fill. I knew it wasn’t an imagination, it was REAL! At one point, I did look up in the sky and prayed to Him to give thanks for what my eyes were seeing. Now I could say that I have found a pure peace of mind in the middle of nowhere. It was the most calming scenery I’ve ever been so far. I’ve seen this place on pictures. But actually being there was like being inside this picture.
The clean breeze of air was like a whisper in my ear. . . then you spoke, “You know other guys give flowers and the flowers just die! For me, I brought you out here to see them! It’s beautiful! This is a dream come true!” I told him that I didn’t think he could be this romantic. “Well, I have my moments you know!” he replied. Then he gave me a big squeeze and I felt like he was making a memory marked in my heart. Thanks for this one, I will never forget you! Wherever I may go, I want you to know that I love you even for a short time of knowing you. Please, don’t forget me either!
