It’s Friday the 4th of March, and he was talking again about this trail that he’d found on the newspaper. This time, it’s in Malibu. It looks pretty interesting and I bet it’s gonna be a long walk. He and I were pretty happy to be hanging out again that night. Listening to music while he held me tight in his arms…keeping me warm again!
The following day, Saturday the 5th, he woke me up with kisses! How sweet!!! “Good Morning!” It’s always nice to wake up that way, don’t you think? So, he went to work and I went home. He then called me around 1300x to prepare for the walk. I came and we enjoyed the drive viewing the ocean and waves. He got so excited seeing the waves and talking so much about getting back there to surf himself. Then, we finally got to our point of interest, that 10 mile trail up on the hills. Oh, Lord! Thank you for that beautiful place. There, we found flowers, trees, waterfalls, and especially a piece of mind! Birds were chirping and even coyotes were howling when we were about to leave. We didn’t go all out since we came in late. “Where can we find a good place to eat?” he asked. I suggested that we should drive off of the Pacific Coast Highway until we get to the Santa Monica Pier. “We’ll check out the pier for a walk and we should find a good restaurant over there!” I said. He was cool about it and off we went. The music was blasting and we were having so much fun even if we got stuck on traffic and a long drive. We got to the pier and we were both very happy just being there. At the end of the pier, there we found Marisol, a Mexican restaurant. It was the best dinner ever! I had a glass of Mellon Sour and he had a huge 32oz mug of Samuel Adams. We had a blast! Upon leaving the restaurant, a mariachi band was playing for this group of people. He said, “Wait, let’s watch them play!” He had me in his arms while that beautiful band played. I was dreaming, I think! Then, heading back to the car, we simply held hands and smiled the whole time. We got to his home around 2030x and showered. I got a snuggled bear next to me that night! “Good night and sweet dreams!”
The following morning, Sunday the 6th, I was awakened by this snuggled up cuddly bear next to me. “Good morning, shorty!” he whispered! Now, this time that was lots and lots of kisses! Have you ever had that for breakfast? I did!!! Then, we went to his new favorite coffee shop on the corner of Sunset and Vine, GroundWork Coffee Shop! We talked and laughed over a couple of coffee cups. That was a great Sunday for me, babe! Thank you again for everything!
